Dashboard restoration. Lower screen seal.

Photo shows repainted metal clamp strip screwed down on to rubber seal with new stainless set screws (guttering adhesive has been applied above and below the rubber). I used shallow button head screws at the ends to allow the re-covered dash top to fit into its groove properly.

I cleaned the excess mastic from the outside of the joint below the metal strip, as this is visible through the screen. It is a good idea to make sure the rubber flap is in very good condition (new ones are available).
