Dashboard restoration. Getting there . . .

The whole assembly operation has to be undertaken very methodically - and in exactly the right order!

Note: the cloth wrapped around the steering wheel is there to prevent the delicate alluminium trim (which the steering column has to go through before being fitted) from damaging the new paint on the wheel and column. All the parts surrounding the column must be carefully adjusted to stop them scraping against it.

Space under the glove box is very tight and the radio only just fits. There was lots of trial fitting before the dash panels were finally painted.
