The Modifications to the backs of the front seats necessitated making taller panels to fit on the back.

Friend Ian broscombe made these from aluminium, and they are considerably stiffer than the thin galvanised steel originals.

Once covered in grey vinyl, they were difficult to adjust to correctly fit over the seat cloth at the sides, but are much less prone to denting when kicked by rear seat passengers.

Rather than fixing with small screws I put rivnuts in the frame tubes and fixed with stainless button head set screws.
