This shows one of the seat back frames after Ian had welded part of the Sierra frame on top of the DS frame.

Pieces of carefully bent steel bar were added to create suitable shape for the top corners.

All parts of the seat frames were thouroughly cleaned and repainted.

This modification produces mountings for the legs of the (Sierra) head rests, as well as putting them at the correct height (for most adults).
