Seat box coverings - keeping some original stuff. Because the floors had only been welded near the outside edges, most of the bonded-on floor insulation was still intact. And the nice grey speckled material (with underlay backing, similar to Hardura) had survived over 40 years of use in amazingly good condition; so it seemed a shame to replace it. I carefully pulled it off the front of the fuel tank housing and the front seat box, and gave it a thourough wash and scrub before hanging it up to dry. When it was glued back in place and the chassis sides covered in green Hardura, I found the combination very pleasing. . | ||||
